Henry's End was founded in 1973 and was known as a hangout with great ginger burgers, omelettes and chocolate decadence.  It was sold in 1980 to Gary Pomponio, who started to evolve the menu and wine list.  In 1981, Mark Lahm was hired as a busser and dishwasher and eventually became a waiter, then manager, then chef.  In 1986, Lahm graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, N.Y. and took over the restaurant.

Henry's End features an annual Wild Game Festival and superb American wine list in a friendly and bustling dining room.  The 2006 Zagat survey awarded us 26 for food and 24 for service and an earlier Zagat edition stated "this is why they built the Brooklyn Bridge". The wine list has received an "Award of Excellence" from the Wine Spectator for the past 22 consecutive years.  In 2002, Mark and his staff hosted an event at the prestigious James Beard House.  Henry's End is open 7 nights a week for dinner.  Reservations accepted for parties of 3 or more (on major holidays reservations are also accepted for 2).

Gift Certificates are available at the restaurant or can be ordered by phone 718 834 1776.
